La Cantine Lourmel
A cheap but good restaurant with classic french bistro dishes. Gets busy at lunch time (and probs for dinner too). First-come-first-served, no reservations
Komé Komé
Small boutique that sells speciality onigiris and inaris at reasonable prices and for all tastes
Season Marais
Excellent breakfast & lunch place for Pancakes, Eggs, Avocado, Salads... Bit touristy but good food.
Land & Monkeys
Chain of 100% vegan Bakeries all around paris that is suprising tasty
Adulis
Quiet and cosy restaurant with a very friendly owner. Authentic and tasty food & drinks
L'atelier Suffren
No-frills neighbourhood bar with a big terrace & super cheap drinks :) pinte de blonde: € 3.5
Les Affranchis
Another nice little bar with a terrace and cheap drinks. Pretty good central location and closes at 2AM on the weekends
The Long Hop

Top bar to watch sports. They have a decent terrace with screens, and many more screens + large projector inside. Gets very busy for big events, I advise you go early

A games bar with billiards & darts. Really lively and young atmosphere and nice decoration

Loui's Corner
Large terrace in the sun on a quiet road. Clearly a local favourite because seems to always be busy.

Le Pantalon
A small bar with cobblestone floor and street lamps for lighting. Very lively and fun.
Rosie's Smoke
house
Not a typical parisian bar (and is kinda touristy) but I like it because it's central, the pint is 5€ all night and they have a pool table.
Bonnotte Club
An open-air terrace right on the Seine, next to the Eiffel Tower, but suprisingly not too touristy. Young crowd and gets very busy from 6pm when the weather is nice.
Le Royal Custine
Nice little neighborhood bar with terrace, good atmosphere and cheap drinks
Le Nova
Another cheap bar with terrace and a good atmosphere in the evenings. Good location to bar hop, as there are many other bars around.
Canal Saint-Martin
Young and energetic area but has some peaceful side roads. After work, people sit and have drinks/apero on the canal.
Les Puces de Saint-Ouen
The world's largest flea market, technically several markets bunched together. There are some really nice parts with serious antiques & vintage clothes.
Jardin du Luxem-
bourg
The Sénat building with a fountain & formal gardens, tennis courts, playground and petanque. The perfect park for all.
Parc Monceau
A Smaller and quieter park in one of the nicest areas in paris, surrounded by grand haussmannian buildings.
Les quais de la Seine

Anywhere along the seine is beautiful, especially around Notre Dame and the Louvre
Pont de Bir-Hakeim + Champ de Mars
This is the typical tourist walk but its still worth it for the great views and architecture of the area.
Fête de la Musique
Musicians of all levels perform free concerts in streets, parks and squares. Expect large crowds in central areas from 4pm onwards.
Salon de l' Agriculture
France's biggest farming show, hundreds of animals brought into the city, plus every region's food and drink offered in hundreds of stands.
La Nuit des Musées
Museums across Paris open late into the night, most for free. Plan ahead to see where you wanna go. Around the 2ème arrondissement there are many options
Bastille Day
Military parade in the morning down the Champs-Élysées and in the evening there's a fireworks display over the Eiffel Tower.
Eurostar Snap
Discounted last-minute tickets for trains that still have space (not only for london infact). You pick a date, and the exact train time is confirmed 48 hours before.
Versailles
For the Chateau obviously. Tbh it wasn't absolutely incredible, but still definetly worth it for its historical significance (buy tickets online beforehand).
Rouen
A bit futher away, but a very cute medieval town that is also on the Seine! You can also visit the site where Joan of Arc was executed.
Fontaine-
bleau
We only visited the forest which is amazing and has many different trails. Allegedly there is also a huge palace but can't comment :(
